2020 Vision - looking forward to another year of MX5 action

2020 Vision - looking forward to another year of MX5 action
Wednesday, 18 December 2019

With the 30th anniversary 2019 was a big year for MX5 fans, especially Mk1 owners. 2020 promises to be all-inclusive though, so we thought we'd look at some of the dates you might want to be setting aside in your new diary while it's too dank and miserable to be out in your Mazda. And how we can help you get your car into shape for the new year.

The MX-5 Owners Club with whom MX5 Parts already has a longstanding relationship will of course be leading the charge with specific Mazda-related events and a new structure for their regular meets. And the main date for your 2020 diary falls on the weekend of July 4th-5th, with twin events to satisfy track addicts and the show and shine brigade alike. The Saturday will host track activity at Blyton Park in Lincolnshire while the Sunday will be your more traditional gathering at Claydon Estate in Buckinghamshire, with a potential roadtrip there for those keen to attend both. Later in the year there will be another meet in South Wales, with drives out to local places of interest and a host of activities for both detailers and drivers alike. The MX5OC will also be present at all the major events, including the Silverstone Classic, NEC Classic Car & Restoration Show and more besides - for full info see www.MX5OC.co.uk and, better still, join the club!

Looking beyond there are two Japfest events taking place at Silverstone on May 3rd and Donington on July 18th-20th. Obviously you'll be fighting for space and track time with owners of all manner of Japanese cars but we trust there will be a strong MX5 contingent there to show them all how it should be done!

Whatever your tastes or ambitions now's the time to be planning your projects and considering what bits you might need. Whether you drive a Mk1, Mk2, Mk3 or Mk4 We've got you covered. For those hitting the circuit at Blyton, Japfest or any number of other track days going on next year We've got everything from suspension sets, brake service parts and induction kits to the bushings and braided brake lines you might be considering to get your MX5 ready. If you're more about the show and shine and making your Mazda look its best then we're there too, whether it's accessories and trim to help add that personal touch to full ranges of cleaning products from Autoglym, Meguiars and more.

So ditch the post-Christmas blues - it's never too early to start planning your adventures for the coming year, or getting your car fighting fit and ready for your first trip out of 2020!
