It's a big year for fans of the MX5 and, if the 30th anniversary of the original Mk1's unveiling wasn't enough already, the MX5 Owners Club is celebrating its 25th anniversary too. 2019 also sees 20 years in business for MX5 Parts, making this a triple celebration.
If you're not already a member of the MX5OC now's the time to join the fun too - over 7,500 of your fellow Mazda drivers already have, living the dream hatched by the original MX5's development team that their new baby would one day inspire a community and following all of its own. Divided into 30 regional groups around the UK, the MX5OC supports everything from informal local meets to mass rallies, motorsport and other activities. The forum and online technical advice resource meanwhile provides you with all the info you need to keep your Mazda running sweetly, supported (of course!) by MX5 Parts. On Sunday the 28th April the club will be assembling for the Spring Rally at Elvington airfield near York with the hope of setting a new world record for the biggest gathering of MX5s staged anywhere in the world.
