It's a big year for fans of the MX5 and, if the 30th anniversary of the original Mk1's unveiling wasn't enough already, the MX5 Owners Club is celebrating its 25th anniversary too. 2019 also sees 20 years in business for MX5 Parts, making this a triple celebration.

If you're not already a member of the MX5OC now's the time to join the fun too - over 7,500 of your fellow Mazda drivers already have, living the dream hatched by the original MX5's development team that their new baby would one day inspire a community and following all of its own. Today the MX5OC is one of the largest such organisations in the world, putting you in the heart of a thriving network of like-minded folk and offering a range of benefits to help you get the most out of your Mazda.

MX5 Owners Club at Restoration Show 2019

Divided into 30 regional groups around the UK, the MX5OC supports everything from informal local meets to mass rallies, motorsport and other activities. From regional gatherings to the annual Spring and National Rally and representation at major national events like the https://www.silverstoneclassic.com/ Silverstone Classic and NEC's https://www.necclassicmotorshow.com/ Classic Motor Show, the MX5OC is there to fly the flag for the world's favourite sports car. There's also the bi-monthly Soft Top Hardtop magazine, packed with stories, ownership tips and classified adverts while membership gets you discounts on parts, insurance and lots more. The forum and online technical advice resource meanwhile provides you with all the info you need to keep your Mazda running sweetly, supported (of course!) by MX5 Parts. On Sunday the 28th April the club will be assembling for the Spring Rally at Elvington airfield near York with the hope of setting a new world record for the biggest gathering of MX5s staged anywhere in the world. If you were thinking of getting involved now is the time - you could just be a world record breaker! What's more, if you're not already a member, if you turn up in your MX5 you can still take part.
